Fantastic set for kids to learn and laugh at the wonders of science, my grandson found this pretty funny with all the gross experiments, he had help off his dad to do them but to be honest at 9 years old he could manage independently. The media could not be loaded. If you have a child who is a bit squeamish and doesn't like textures, probably best to avoid this kit. This completely gross chemistry set is a bit of fun for the kids who probably like to pick up worms and frogs. The set comes with 10 experiments, all with step by step instructions on what needs to be done and the ingredients included to make what you need to make. There's also another booklet with 10 extra experiments for you to do at home but the kit doesn't supply why you need for those although the ingredients aren't hard to source. The booklet also includes gross facts about the item you are making such as boogers or eyeballs, so it is educational in a way that appeals to kids that like gross things. I like the fact that some experiments intertwine with eachother so you keep the product from one experiment to help you in the next, but this does also mean some need to be done in a sequential order. The rules of things you get to make are boogers, eyeballs, blood cells, a brain, you get to see vomitting in action, make guts and worms, fungus and pee. Goggles are provided but gloves are not and I think, dealing with colourings and chemicals, gloves probably should have been a safety item added as standard. We've done a few experiments, I personally am not having fun as it does gross me out but my child is loving it and that's what matters. I think for what you get, the price in on point. A great way to get a certain genre of kids in to science.
