There are so many experiments to choose from, keeping my child entertained for hours. The instructions are clear, and it’s easy for children to follow along with minimal help. I appreciate the variety in the experiments, from chemistry to digging for gemstones. It’s a great way for kids to learn while having fun. Safe materials too, which is always a plus.

This set comes with a lot of different things you can do to explain science lessons. It covers a wide variety of topics and has a book that outlines all experiments you can do. It includes almost everything that you will need to perform the experiments. And the quality of the items are good enough for the purposes of the experiments provided. They are mostly in resealable bags or bottles when you might need to use only some. The instructions are good enough to do the experiment itself, but not that much background. You would have to research that yourself. Also, an annoying this is that there are no page numbers or index, so you have to go through the pages and find the exact ones you want! But overall this is a fun way to interest kids in science. Lots of great introductions to practical science, a super fun way of getting the head around chemistry and physics... it has a lot to offer and as the experiments are designed to open worlds of possibilities and understanding it is safe to say that once kids have had this kind of taster they may well go on to develop further interests of the same nature. I think its great, some of the pieces are a bit fiddly but you can replace some of the storage for more sturdy. A great set.

Upon arrival, they immediately jumped into building the STEM Hand-operated Generator, which has become a daily favourite and looks fantastic on the shelf. The kit comes with books that explain the science behind each experiment and how it works, making it an exceptional gift for any science enthusiast. Although they haven't explored all the experiments yet, the wealth of activities and included materials are impressive. I can't recommend it enough for sparking a love of science!
